How to get to the castle?
By car:
There are 2 paid public car parks near the castle, both approximately a 4-minute walk to the ticket office.
It is strictly forbidden to enter the main entrance road to the castle with a car.
By train:
The town of Oravský Podzámok is a part of Trstená – Kraľovany railway route. There are two train stops in the town: Oravský Podzámok and Oravský Podzámok – zastávka. We recommend to get off at Oravský Podzámok which is a 10-minute walk from the ticket office.
By bus:
For the bus rides, we recommend to get off at Oravský Podzámok – námestie stop, located a 3-minute walk from the ticket office.
Visitors and groups arriving by their own bus can use the public car parks.
